Our key areas of focus - Preferably Kerala Startups, that can create impact in any sector, early stage fit, revenue earning, and amenable for angel investment. Our ticket size typically ranges from Rs. 2.5 Lakhs to Rs. 50 Lakhs, with flexibility based on the potential of the startup. We have a history of tickets extending up to Rs. 1.5 Crore for particularly promising venturesThe start-ups should be disruptively innovative (not incremental innovation) and, will potentially serve a large market in India and or globally, with an ability to scale rapidly and be founded by an ambitious team.

To apply for funding, startups should send their pitch deck to MAN’s secretariat at [email protected]. Refer to the Funding page for detailed information the startup application process and timeline. MAN focuses on early-stage startups, especially those based in Kerala with the potential to create local employment and solve regional problems at scale. Startups selected by the MAN team will be invited to pitch in front of investors during scheduled pitch sessions.
MAN seeks startups that have a significant social impact, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, clean technology, healthcare, education, IT, and more. Preference is given to Kerala-based startups that can create local employment opportunities and address rural challenges at scale.

Yes, MAN provides extensive mentorship through its experienced members, who include corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, and domain experts. Startups can also benefit from pre-incubation support at Mizone, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and expertise to scale successfully.
To become a member of MAN, Please review the framework document for all the details. Members must satisfy the existing criteria laid down by the Government of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India. (These guidelines are being finalised by the Government of India for angel investors).

MAN is a network of experienced corporate professionals, SME promoters, academicians, and high-net-worth individuals in Kerala and globally. MAN mentors and supports startups in Mizone, leveraging its members' domain expertise to guide them to the investor table. MAN will conduct periodical open houses with its investors to take feedback on the functioning of the network and improve it to create more impact.
Additionally, MAN fosters collaborations with other angel networks and VCs, expanding your access to diverse investment opportunities and co-investment prospects.
The MAN Secretariat builds a deal pipeline, conducts regular pitch sessions, offers investor advocacy, and provides due diligence and legal support for lead investors. MAN also collaborates with other angel networks and VCs. It has existing partnerships with Indian Angel Network (IAN) and Native Angel Leads of Tamil Nadu.

This is subject to the agreement with each start-up. They are mostly equity shares in the company in favour of each investor or a convertible debt instrument, convertible on timelines and achieving certain milestones on pre-determined valuations.
