Being a founding member of Malabar Angel Network has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The network offers a dynamic investment ecosystem, especially through initiatives like MiZone, which provides a valuable incubation platform for startups. This ecosystem not only connects investors with promising ventures but also fosters innovation and growth, particularly in Kannur and the broader Kerala region. MAN gives me a professionally managed platform that allows me to interact with curated startups and invest, network with fellow investors and industry experts, and stay informed about the global and Indian startup scene. I believe, the decision to join Malabar Angels was one of the greatest and game changing decisions I ever took in my professional life. The platform that is offered by MAN gives us immense opportunity to interact with a wide range of founders and investors. It provides us great exposure to Kerala's start up ecosystem as well. At one point of time I was confined to a environment, limited within an IT company's premises. Joining MAN provided me ability to think and imagine, beyond a traditional perspective and exchange innovative ideas with a group of creative founders. Apart from the growth of investment that is offered, MAN enables a great learning platform for every professional. It has also helped me to scale up as a mentor also.

Malabar Angel Network (MAN) is a start-up discovery and angel investment facilitation platform and is a business division of MiZone, a Section 8 non-profit organization.
For investors:
To join MAN, please refer to the framework document for all the details. Members should satisfy the existing criteria laid down by the Government of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India. (These guidelines are being finalised by Government of India for angel investors). Download and fill out the form and submit to the MAN secretariat in the Mizone address. The membership approval will be communicated within 10 days of receipt of the form.
For start-ups:
Start-ups seeking funding should send their pitch deck to MAN’s secretariat at [email protected]. MAN prioritises early-stage start-ups in Kerala that can generate local employment and address regional challenges. Selected start-ups will be invited to present their pitches during scheduled sessions with investors.
